In French, Pipi Longstockings is called Fifi brin d'acier ;)))

When I was at school, the textbook we used in French lessons was called Tricolore. The things I remember most about it was that all the examples were from La Rochelle and a regular cartoon charecter was called Fifi la Folle, she had a chat folowing her around at all times. This picture shoud not have brought back that distant memmory, but it did.

He came down the radio station, when Maxine's dad still worked there...he quit...they had great artists coming down for an interview once in a while, they still have a very good live show on Sunday am (Pacific time) called Please stand by that I highly recommend, mostly Americana of course.
Anyway, they had a good chat, Maxine's dad told me Ry was wonderful.
